Hey there. I have mk7 model. I have installed a new player with rear-view camera and blue tooth among others. But I want to connect the volume + and - from the handle to the new one. But I can't find out which wires it is. Can you help me?
Cheers, Petter

Hello and welcome to 2CarPros. Looking at the wiring diagram shows that there isn't a way to use those controls with anything but the stock radios. They are not individual wires but a resistance network that tells the OEM sound module which button you are pushing. All of them are connected to just two wires. The cruise buttons work the same way.

Sorry, As the vehicles get more complex it becomes a lot harder to do much with them. The newer Ford products you cannot remove the stock radios as they are part of the security and comfort systems. Remove them and things stop working, including the starting system!
