Cable or hydraulic clutch?

so if its hard to get into gear and feels juddery when got clutch in and in gear is it more than likely something with clutch if vso is it a big job and exspensive

Clutches are not cheap and there is a fair bit of time involved, always do the full clutch kit and re face the flywheel, it is sounding like a clutch problem, i think these area cable clutch so have the adjustment checked first, try this first.
