My 98 Thunderbird has never had a tune it. It does not skip, idles great. Drives great. However, in the past 2-3 days it has been difficult cranking. The engine will turn over but it takes 30-60 seconds for it to fire up. Once it is running it goes great. Do I need a tune up? Could it be the fuel pump? It will finally crank, but it seems to be taking longer.

Thanks

I would start with plugs, wires, cap, rotor (if equiped)
if you have no distributer I would change wires and plugs, and then also fuel filter and go from there
an dmake shure you buy the right plugs most parts stores carry a motorcraft plug and i believe that, your engine takes platinum plugs which motorcraft has a good platinum plug but be careful when you gap them the electrode is thin
