My oil engine light came on and stays on, my oil level is fine and the oil is clean and doesnt need changing, why doesnt it go off?

Do you have any type of engine knocking noises ?

Check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge if normal replace the oil pressure switch abnormal could mean oil pump and engine bearings
