Roughly a week ago, my car began to act as if it was suffocating or bogging down, slightly like a flooded bike. The engine will shake as if a tire is beginning to fall off! It doesn't seem to be able to tell how much fuel it's getting but, it also seems like my catalytic converter (or some other part of my exhaust system) is clogged... Any advice on this predicament?

If the car shakes that bad, you will have check engine light. Get it scanned, and come back with the code(s).
