Fan stops operating and when you close the door it starts working again. Sounds like a connection issue where should I start looking?

Hello –

It should be located under the passenger side of the dash under a cover panel. I will have a electrical connector going to it and you will see may 3 bolts holding it in. It may be a bad connection but the fan itself may also be shot.

Once out you can put 12v to it and see how it turns. Sometimes they will be intermittent.
