Engine Cooling problem
1997 Ford Thunderbird 6 cyl 150000 miles

i had a pressure test done on my radiator it is suppost to have 16 pounds but has 26 i have changed the themostate was told the head was chracked but no water in oil is there anything else that it could be

What do you mean you have 26psi in the radiator? The radiator cap is designed to release pressure at 16psi. If you are building that much pressure, the cap must be bad. Check it and let me know what you find.
