Noises problem
1996 Ford Thunderbird 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 96 Thunderbird and it makes knocking noise when I push the excellerator, but stops when I hit the emergency brake (I had it up on blocks for this). It sounds like a little like a CV joint going out, only it doesn't have one, or a U-Joint, but that looks fine too. It doesn't change from second to third gear either. What could the issue be?

Does it change with the speed of the car?
