Noises problem
1996 Ford Thunderbird Engine Size unknown Two Wheel Drive Automatic 90,000 miles

I went to a shop to have my oil changed a few months ago and while they were doing that the mechanic told me that there is a hole in my radiator hose. I decided not to do anything about that and thought I would just do it later. I never got around to fixing it but the car still ran well so I just forgot about the problem. The other day I turned on my car and it started to make a lot of noise, especially when it shifted gears, and then it died on me. I can get it to run a little, but only if I constantly rev the engine and it will only last about 30 seconds before stalling again. I also tried driving it and I would not go any faster than 25 mph. I think the engine could be destroyed because I neglected to fix that radiator problem. Is that the problem? If so do I have to buy a new engine or is there a cheaper way to fix it?

First thing is to check the oil level and coolant level.
Then tell us what you find.

OK so right now there is no coolant in it. Add some thing water, coolant, just as a test, then get a comrpession tester, remove all the plugs and test, then pressure test the cooling system. Orange coolored build up is rust.
