Interior problem
1995 Ford Thunderbird V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

i have a 1995 for thunderbird. the ignition has been completly broken off and we bought another one. where the ignition connects to the steering column, i guess that would be the housing, the metal has broken completely off. if u were to put the ignition into the side of the steering column it just falls down cuz there is no support. Will i have to replace the entire steering column in order to fix this problem and if so how would i do that?

Based on your description, it sounds like the column needs replaced. There are many steps for replacement. I hate to do this, but I recommend getting a good repair manual with pictures and step by step instructions for replacement. For me to explaine it via the internet allows too much room for error.
