Engine Performance problem

can you please tell me why there would be oil on my spark plugs? Please tell me it is nothing to bad I am a single mom and just bought this car 8 months ago.

You have a leak in your valve cover gasket and probably the piston rings need to be changed. This is notorious in 91-96 thunderbirds. Good news, I have a thunderbird with about 500000 miles on the the original engine and i've had oil on the spark plugs for yrs. Doesnt really do anything bu make the car smoke after a long idle (stop light). Try a KN air filter, that seemed to help w/ mine
