1992 Ford Thunderbird trip meter and mile meter.

my trip meter and mile meter have both stopped working but the speedometer still works could you tell me what would cause this.they are both mecanical gauges.thanks.

Usually those older guages have gears behind the the speedometer and they get overheated and break. Replacing those should solve your problem.
