2000 Ford Ranger Grinding or clicking noise

After putting into gear, 1st or Reverse, a horrible noise I believe from front wheels. Had full break job 100K ago & never had a clutch job or timing belt replaced. Does this sound like a brake problem?

I'm thinking this is a typo? 100,000 miles ago? or 10,000? If 100,000 between brake jobs, there may be nothing left! My suggestion is to remove the wheels and inspect them, all 4!
