1999 Ford Tempo starting problems

When i try to start my car it will not turn over the first couple of times I try. I have had a complete tune up wires and plugs done and have also had the fuel system flushed and the filter changed. It seems like the gas is not staying in the lines while the car is sitting. Any help would be appreciated.

-Sounds like possibly the fuel pump. You have to keep cranking it to get the pressure up to start the engine. No absolute, but sounds like low fuel pressure to me.
