I need to know where the starter is on my car; so I can try to at least get it home!

it's just above the engine oil pan in front. what are the symptoms of the problem you are experiencing? starter not working? you gonna whack it to make it work? probably needs new brushes! they are around $15 but you have to get them from auto electric/repair shop or the internet as your local auto supply store chains have discontinued carrying most fix it parts for common replacement units as they are looking for the big profit in the whole unit new/rebuilt.
