I need to know how to replace the right front wheel bearings on a 1994 ford tempo. Do I need a special tool or can I just knock them out with a hammer and wood block?

if i remember right, snap ring and beat it out! sand bore so new 1 will go in easier. i always remove spindel from car. never tried it without removing. and i thus decided to replace complete spindle from boneyard as it is easier and cheaper!
make sure used bearing spins without ANY MINUTE FEELING OF IMPERFECTION!! it should feel miraculously smooth!! if you replace bearing, dont use chinese 1!!
