Theres a loud knock coming from the front of the engine. First thing attempted was taking the belt off the front of the engine to see if noise would stop witch it did. Installed new water pump, new belt tensioner, new belt, new alternator, new timing chain and tensioner. Also inspected harmonic balancer didn't find anything suspicious. After everything was installed and back together started the car and engine was still knocking. I applied soap to the bottom of the harmonic balancer and the knock went away for about two minutes. Then returned and sounds the same. I'm not sure what to do next any input would be appreciated.

did you try locating noise by using a tube sweeper wand or pvc pipe held to ear and point at suspected area of noise? does the noise change go away depending on rpm or car in gear or drivivg? you could also get a used harmonic balancer and change it out.
