1993 Ford Tempo erratic idle

when stopped or in park engine idle is eratic.most of the time it seems too go lower almost to a stall ,sometimes causing slight jerkin.

Do you have a check engine light and when was the last tune-up??

Clean out the idle air control valve and EGR valve and test the throttle position sensor.
