1993 Ford Tempo Constant Relay Module for fuel pump

My mechanic told me I need to replace the board this module plugs into and that it costs as much as what the car is worth. He said I should try my luck at a salvage yard and I would like to know what years and makes would be interchangeable.

dont know really what he is saying! the motherboard of a car is the computer itself. what's your problem with car? you could always get another car? tempo's were fords cheapo economy car with ride but expensive to maintain. has lots of costly problems. get a chevy cavalier or toyota.
