1993 Ford Tempo car starts but will but move.

car will come out of park but will not move froward or in reverse.transmission fuild is not burnt and it has showed no thing wrong until i parked it, went back out and it would not move. can you tell me what might be the problem?
yes the cable moves. you can the see lever on the trans move when you move the shifter.

Check the cable going from the shifter to the transmission. See if it moves whne the shifter is moved.
