1993 Ford Tempo blows fuses #5 & #1

Blows turn signal/back up light fuse #5 when ignition switch is turned on.

blows brake light/Hazard/brakeshift interlock solenoid fuse #1 when brake petal is depressed.

soda spilled in gear shift change lever in console.

brake pedal no longer needs to be depressed to shift out of park

soda pop sounds like no brake pedal to park thing. but not related to the other fuse blows.when did the fuse blow thing start? put a wrong bulb in some where or do any wiring work like stereo? in other words did it start after work done on car?
