1992 Ford Tempo 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic +10000 miles

i lost my car keys and it is gonna be cheaper to replace the switch then to get a key made. i am dumb founded when it comes to cars. my step dad is gonna change it for me, but he don't know to much about cars either. i was wondering if u could walk me through it. thanks megan

the cheapest thing to do is to call up the dealer and have them get you the key. if you put in a new one you will have to have it reprogrammed anyways before it will start.

to replace you should see a hole on the ignition tumbler, simply drill it out about 1/8th of an inch and the tumbler should pull right out.
