I just changed the fuel pump, injectors, fuel pressure regulator, and fuel filter on my Tempo it was running fine for about 3 days then it started idling eradicly turning off almost like its starving for fuel, so I have to turn her off and on sometimes then she will run fine for awhile then it starts doing it again. Im confused and so is my mechanic, some help would be appreciated thanks.

So what was the original problem that led you to replace those parts? And how was it diagnosed? When you say off and on again do you mean restart it? Does the fuel pressure remain steady when it stalls? Does it matter if it's hot or cold engine?

The original fuel pump and 2 of the injectors went bad on this tempo thats why the parts were changed, yes I have to turn her on and off again for the vehicle to start running fine again at least until it desides to run like crap again lol, and no the fuel pressure does not remain constant, she does this even when cold or hot.

When it starts running erratically giving it more gas has no effect? Have you let it idle and watched the fuel pressure? Any pressure symptoms when the failure happens? Is the check engine light working? How long you owned the car? Fords are notorious for coil wire problems. What kind of time intervals are involved in the problems appearances. Maybe the computer is trying to lean the mixture to much? Maybe an injector monitoring rig can reveal this? I'm not sure if the ford uses varying voltage or varying pulse width? Have you checked plugs for color? Are they too white looking?
