how do you know when the radiator is bad

other than obvious leaks car will tend to run hot. it can either be plugged up or the micro finning is rotting away and lessening the ability to cool. if it's plugged, the top hose will be hot but the bottom hose will be cooler. check as soon as gauge reads normal. the fin rotting occurs along the lower section of radiator usually spotted by the green discoloration and missing finning.
