tranny pan bolts will not tighten

After changing the tranny pan gasket and filter on a 1995 Ford Taurus GL 3.0/ 6 cylinder with 112,000 miles on it the bolts will not tighten and keep turning. What are my options at this point // Please help. Fluid is leaking

Take one of the bolt to the hardware store and buy some self tapping ones...
