Taurus "missing"

1999 Taurus 3.0 V6 - 90,000 miles
Car runs great, but at idle I notice a smaill "miss"
Steering wheel vibrates slightly. "Putt-putt" sound coming from muffler. No fumes, no smoke, no engine light. Time for tune up? What should I be looking at?

check ignition timing, plugs, wires, if your vehicle has distributor and rotor check for carbon build up or cracks,check fuel filter, also clean air filter.
