Noise while turning~

99 Taurus 117,xxx miles automatic tranny
2 wheel drive (front wheel drive)

My car has recently started making a weird noise while turning only...kinda sounds liek the power steering but I checked it and all fluids are full..do you think maybe the pump is going out? if so how can I tell for sure?

Does it make noise when turning in either direction, or only one direction? Is it a whining noise, or clicking noise?

If it's a whining noise, then it's probably the power steering pump. If it's a clicking noise, then it's probably a CV joint, especially if it only makes noise in one direction.
