2006 Ford Taurus Car won't go into gear

I got my car stuck in some snow and after getting towed out, the car would not shift into gear. The tires won't spin or anything when accelerated or reversed. I move the gear shift and it doesn't shift. I've had the car for 10 months and have had no signs of problems with the transmission. All fluids are okay. What could this be? Thanks!
