Shakes or Wobbles problem
2006 Ford Taurus 30000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
My steering wheel shakes while driving. It seems like the faster I go, the more it shakes. Somebody told me I need a front end alignment. Does this sound right? And if so, how much does that usually cost?

No it does NOT sound right. Look for a belt shifted in one of the (front) tires, loose wheel or badly bent rim perhaps. You don't want to put this off. Run your hands around the tread area feeling for a fairly large bulge. You may need to move the car ahead a couple feet between checks and you may find it that way.If nothing felt or seen, check the lug nuts for looseness.
