My engine light is on and I took it in to see what the problem was. It was coded as a vacuum issue.
Can I repair it myself or could it be a manifold issue.

Vacuum issues can be very difficult to find without special service tools. I would recommend just taking it to the shop so they can run smoke tests and other tests that will point out the vacuum leak to them much faster and easier.
