When I bought the car five months ago, the dealer guy said I can pick up some "liquid silver" and it will allow the contact to stick to the glass of the rear window (drivers side). Cant find this liquid silver anywhere and my back window is always needing a good defrost every morning.

Does anyone have any ideas how to get the plastic connector to stick to the metal piece embedded in the glass?

Thanks

Just wondering here so bear with me. But are you having a problem with the grid connector. Or do you have to repair the grid itself as in a shorted grid piece. Thanks!

If you still have some metal or solder left on the window you can solder a new terminal on. Use a low heat soldering iron and get a low heat solder to put it on you have to be careful as not to crack the windshield. If you have no solder left theres no suitible way to properly repair it. The way im feeling right now is its pretty much unrepairable or they would have fixed it at the dealership if they knew about it.
