my car acted like it didn't want to move?

Transmission problem
2004 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 110k miles

my car has never gave me any problems before but one day i was driven and my car acted like it didn't want to move so i turned it off and turned it back on and it wouldn't move i checked the oil and transmission and everything was fine the car will crank up and it sounds pretty normal but it just wont move i don't know what the problem is

Hi there I believe your problem is the Torque Converter. Check back out on the main board for my response to the post: "2003 Ford Taurus Won't move anywhere" for my answer to your problem. Hope that helps you out and good luck.

It might be the torque converter but can I ask if you have checked the transmission fluid level? Here is a guide that can help you, also, I have seen the CV axle break causing this issue so please check that as well.
