I have replaced my alternator and soon after a squealing and rattling noise can be heard from the front of the car. It sounds like it is coming from te belt or the powersteering part of the car but I am not entirely sure. Any help on this matter would be awesome.

Remove the belt and see if there is any play in the accessories such as the water pump, alt, PS pump.

Let me know what you find. Also, make sure the belt is tight and the tensionier isn't bad.
