2003 Ford Taurus Very bad rattle from the serpentine belt p

When running you can clearly here a distinct rattling coming from the engine. I opened the hood and it is coming directly from the left side of the engine where the serpentine belt is located and sounds like it may be coming from the pulleys.......???? I am wondering if it could be the bearings or the actual pulleys themselves...... lost in translation here, please help?

It will be the bearing inside the pulley. You need to figure out which pulley to replace, though. Usually it is the tensioner pulley.
