Electrical problem
2003 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 140000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
The check engine light came on and my husband said to unhook the battery for a few minutes and rehook it. In doing so when we open the door, the alarm goes off! After about a minute it cuts off. If I could unhook the horn until my husband gets home tomorrow it would be nice. We don't know where to unhook it. Help?

Why unhook the battery??? Doesn't fix the problem with the light.. horns are usually located near the washer, radiator bottles passenger side, usually???
