2003 Ford Taurus Tranny acting retarded

I recently was heading out of town to take my son home and I stopped at a stop sign.When I went to take off again it acted like it didnt want to pull.Once I revved the car up some it caught gear and began pulling again.It shifts out fine once it starts pulling but it is a rather annoying problem when i have to pull out into traffic. Oh yeah the PCM relay looked burnt out so I replaced it to now avail... Any ideas? Please I need to get this car fixed asap. Thanks!

Hello,

Have you check the tranny fluid level. sounds like it may be low. Also when was the last tranny service, fuild and filter change?
