2003 Ford Taurus Speedometer, Odometer and Trip Meter no wo

Gentlemen,
I have a 2003 Ford Taurus wagon with the EFI V-6/auto transmission with 108,000 miles. Yesterday i noticed the speedometer fluctuating while i was at a constant 65 MPH on cruise control, then the needle dropped tp dead zero. At that same time the odometer and trip meter stopped turning. The car runs fine and the transmission shifts well and i have not lost any other functions.The speedo will occasionally work throughout town but wobbles then drops again. Can you give me any advice? Thank You for your time.
