Car does not come out of park when you step on brake pedal

car does not come out of park when you step on brake pedal, some one said it might be a sensor of some sort, can you tell me where to locate this part, and how much it cost to buy from a auto parts store

Did you check if the brake lights are working? If the brake fuse blows, the interlock would not work. The shift interlock is located under left dash panel but the price is not listed in our database so I am not able to provide it.
