I don't even know if I am spelling it right but the mechanic said I have a bad strut and a broken "links" which is why my car sags low on the rear drivers side.

What is this links? does it pay to just fix the link and leave the strut?

Can you repair the link and then do the strut at a later date?

Hi Curtis,

The Link that he is refering to is the Stabilizer Link or you may know it better by Sway Bar Link.

It will not pay to just replace the Link and not the Strut.

I heard to replace a strut you have to break the link? Can you replace a stabalizer link and then later on replace the strut?

You do not have to break the link in order to replace the Strut.

You can replace the link first then the strut later but wouldn't put off the strut to long.
