Intermittent leaking of red fluid from under the car. After car has been sitting for a few days, I start it and a red fluid poors out from underneath. I leave the car running and nothing happens so it is not a continuous leaking. There is a cloud shaped pan underneath that seems to be the culprit. I tried to shake the pan to see if it was loose and it is not.

What's my problem?

HI there,

Wash down the transmission pan and run the engine if the leak is from the pan gasket it will need to be removed & a new gasket fitted, it may be a good time to go get a transmission service as well.
