I have a 96 ford taurus with 150k miles. Ive just had the heater hose replaced and still notice that when it rains and the car has been sitting for a while at a light theres white smoke coming from where the hood latch is. It happened yesterday at 745am in a drive thru. Car runs fine except this problem. Bte the oil was just changed 1k miles ago too. Thanks for the help.

Are you sure water isn't just laying on the radiator and causing steam?

Thanks ill have to check it out. If that is the case do you think that the radiator is bad or needs replaced?

No, many times water gets on a hot radiator and steams. I think that is what is happening.
