My Ford Taurus recently failed the emissions testing because the computer would not connect to the car. The inspector said that the computer was reading NO Voltage and therefore could not perform a reading. The car runs fine, never had any mechanical problems. Engine light is not on. Only the brake light stays on all the time. I need to pass inspection. Any ideas how to go about finding the problem without paying someone to check the car out?
