No air blowing from vents?

The 2 front defroster blowers stay at same speed even when on the highest, the interior side windows fog up and ice over when it's below 20 degrees outside, we live on NH so it happens alot. We've had the car all this time without a problem

Lets replace the air cabin filter.

Open hood Remove the right side cowl vent screen. Remove the screws and the water shield. Remove the pollen

Thanks so much! We did what you said, the filter was filthy, filled with dirt, debris and many acorns. Will see how it works with the cold weather tomorrow morning. At least the filter is clean regardless.

The air conditioner blows out cold, but it will not blow through the dash vents or the back seat vent. It blows through the defroster and can be switched to floor vent, just not dash or dash/floor. Any help would be appreciated.

The mode selection is done through a series of air doors that are operated by vacuum. When there is either a partial or total loss of vacuum, the system will default to either defrost or on some vehicles, heat. Acceleration can also have an effect on the doors for the same reason.

Look under the hood for a small black plastic hose coming through the firewall. Follow it to the vacuum source looking for any breaks, cracks or leaks. Also, follow any other lines that branch off because they may go to a vacuum reservoir (storage tank) and a leak there will cause the same problem. Using a vacuum gauge to determine if you have full vacuum at any given point is the best way to find it. You can cut into the line anywhere and splice it back together with a piece of vacuum hose. Find the broken line, you found your problem.
