2003 Ford Taurus -- there is a squealing noise that comes and goes, and I suspect the belt tensioner may be part of the cause. My question is: is the flywheel on the tensioner supposed to be smooth or is it supposed to have grooves in it? If it's supposed to be smooth, then I need to replace the tensioner, but if not then I need to continue to troubleshoot the problem.
