2003 Ford Taurus batterey light

Electrical problem
2003 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Automatic 73000 miles

Batterey light comes on when the rpm's are low. Batterey went dead..recharge the batterey but the problem continues to exist. Alternater and batt. seem to be working fine at this times but the problem continues to exist..Where should I look next

Hi, I'd Replace The alternator . It May Have A bad Diode , Causing the light to come on.
