I have had a problem with the alternator and fuse. We replaced both a few months ago and are having a problem with the battery light coming on again. All this started after we had a new transmission put in.The battery light comes on after the car has been running a while, but goes off sometimes after accelerating. If idling itcomes on again. Now ABS light is coming on. Help

If the light is coming on, the alternator isn't producing enough current. Did you have the alt checked at a parts store? Most will do it for free while it is on the car. When the light is on, you should have it done. The voltage regulator (built into the alt) is most likely the problem or the belt is loose and not turning the alt fast enough.

Let me know what you find.
