Hello,
When start my Taurus it smells like exhust is coming into the cabin. It may or may not be coming in through the vents. When I drive it goes away. When I stop at a red light light it comes back. What is it that is allowing this smell to come in, and is this something I can fix myself or do I need to bring to dealership? Thank you for the help!!

Hi there,

If the heater controls are set to outside air try driving on inside air for a while, if the smell is not present, have your exhaust system checked for leaks, you may be drawing in exhaust fumes from a leaking system on your own car.
