I started my car after work but didn't let it warm up for very long- 5min. max. Temp was around 20 degrees and the car was setting for 10 hrs.
I put it in drive and the car was jerking/hesitating as I pressed on the gas. It did this for a minute or so then started running like normal. Didn't notice till a little later that the trans light came on on the dash board.
Car seems to be running normal now but light is still on the dash board.
Do i have to take it in to have the light cleared or is this telling me of a bigger problem?

Hi there,

This will have to be investigated, the check light may have been trigged by the cold, and there may not be a problem, just get the code read and cleared and see if it re sets itself before going any further .
