GRINDING/SCRAPING SOUND HEARD WHEN DRIVING,HEARD A POP SOUND LIKE A BOLT SNAPPING. WHAT IS REPAIR COST?

need more info, way too general of a question, are you saying a strut broke?? Or you don't know??? A set of front struts, loaded type, probably set you back 450-500 installed, uneducated guess on my part as to the labor costs, struts gotta be around 175 each I'm guessing, loaded type ready to install.. the only way to go..

Struts aren't going to make a sound like that. Likely breaks metal to metal or wheel bearing. jack the front end up and shake tire holding at the top and bottom. remove whell and check brake linings. :|
