I just changed the front disk brake pads, but the rotor didn't appear to need replacing. After completing the work one of the brakes squeaks. Can anything be done to stop the squeaking?

the brake pads will "bed" themselves in eventually .. you could remove the new pads and use a semi fine sandpaper to score the friction surface of the pad to help them along ..
